Bill McKibben's talk was inspiring. The Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo was packed with over 850 people...the largest crowd to assemble there.
I guess we are all serious about wanting to survive on our Planet Earth.

The Central Coast SOLARTHON 2011 will be held on Saturday, October 22nd from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Peterson Ranch Rd and Terebinth, in Templeton, California. Join in a huge solar block party and fundraiser where GRID Alternatives Central Coast will lead individual, team and corporate work crews to install solar energy systems for several low-income families in one neighborhood, all in one day. "It is our biggest annual fundraiser to help re-energize the Templeton community and help raise money for the environment and economy," GRID Alternative's Katrina Clouser said.
