1/2 lb. “organic” lean ground turkey
1/2 tsp. red crushed chili pepper
1/4 tsp. peppercorn mélange
1/4 tsp. roasted garlic–sea salt blend
3 sprouted corn tortillas, warmed non‑stick cooking spray

Preparation: Spray a skillet with non‑stick spray and start cooking ground turkey on medium heat. When halfway cooked, add chili pepper, peppercorns, and roasted garlic–sea salt blend. Constantly stirring, continue cooking another 5 minutes or until done. Spoon 1/3 of turkey meat onto one warm sprouted corn tortilla. Makes 3 Servings — Recommended Serving Size: 1 taco

Nutritional Value Per Serving: 160 calories; 16.5 g protein; 11.5 g carbs; 5.5 g fat; 1.5g fiber; 221.9 mg sodium

Notes: Topping the tacos with cilantro, onions, lettuce, and tomatoes adds few calories and lots of good nutrients. A handful of kidney, pinto, or black beans adds fiber. Ideally: choose fresh, organic vegetables, fruits, herbs, and spices where applicable and possible. Topping with 1/4 avocado or light cheese adds about another 7 grams of fat. Try to choose one or the other—not both (the avocado is a healthier choice).
