Growing your own cat grass (more commonly known as Catnip) is cost-effective, easy to do and will encourage your cat to eat what you've grown and not other plants around the home that could be hazardous to cats if ingested. Catnip can grow to a height of 18-36″ long and spread widely if undisturbed, so it’s recommended you  transplant the seedlings once they are off to a good start. This will ensure maximum use for your cat.
