 Sending holiday cards this year? Make sure they're printed on recycled paper with earth-safe inks.Opt for postcards to reduce waste. If you're planning to send a photo greeting, consider an e-card instead.
Shipping holiday gifts this year?
Plan early so you can send them ground rather than air for maximum efficiency and reuse as much old packing material as you have on hand, including crumpled-up waste paper. How about using real peanuts (in the shell) or plain popped corn to cushion gifts. Recipients can eat the former, and compost of feed the latter to the birds!
