These statistics are via the Wildlife Conservation Society's "The Human Footprint" project. Numbers based on the average American living approximately 78 years. Amazingly, the average infant in the U.S. produces as much carbon dioxide as a Tanzanian would produce over their entire lives. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
